Reservation Agent

Alaska Airlines is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Reservation Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and experience working in the airline industry. As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for responding to incoming customer inquiries, booking reservations and providing assistance to customers. If you are committed to providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. Prior experience in customer service and the airline industry is preferred. You should also be able to type quickly and accurately and have a working knowledge of computer systems and programs.

Responsibilities of a Reservation Agent:

1. Respond to customer inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
2. Book reservations for customers in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Provide assistance to customers throughout the booking process.
4. Address customer complaints and concerns in a courteous and tactful way.
5. Maintain accurate records of customer reservations.
6. Monitor changes in travel regulations and policies and update customers as needed.
7. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of any issues.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant airline regulations and policies.
9. Type quickly and accurately with clear communication skills.
10. Utilize computer systems and programs efficiently.
