Job Description

Are you passionate about helping people plan their travel? Alaska Airlines is now seeking a highly motivated and customer-service oriented individual to join our team as a Reservation Agent. In this role, you will be providing excellent customer service while helping travelers plan their journey both over the phone and online. To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Respond to customer inquiries regarding flight booking, ticket prices, and other related travel information over the phone and online.
  2. Utilize customer service skills and knowledge of airline policies to effectively resolve customer inquiries.
  3. Accurately and efficiently process customer booking requests.
  4. Update customer records in the company database.
  5. Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  6. Remain current with airline policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
  8. Provide accurate and timely feedback to management and other team members.
  9. Assist with other tasks and duties as assigned.
