- Develop and implement asset protection strategies and protocols to ensure the safety and security of all Albertsons stores within the designated district.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of store operations to identify potential risks or vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Train and educate store management and employees on proper asset protection procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and investigate any incidents or issues related to theft, fraud, safety, or security within the district and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and other partners to prevent and address any criminal activity within the district.
- Manage a team of asset protection specialists and provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure consistent and effective execution of asset protection protocols.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments related to asset protection and make recommendations for improvement and enhancement of current protocols.
- Conduct regular meetings and communicate with store management and employees to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all incidents, investigations, and activities related to asset protection within the district.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within Albertsons to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach to asset protection.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Asset Protection Or Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Environment.
Strong Knowledge Of State And Federal Laws Related To Asset Protection And Loss Prevention.
Proven Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Mentor And Develop A Team.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Law Enforcement Agencies.
