- Oversee the daily operations of the grocery department, including but not limited to inventory management, product ordering, and pricing.
- Ensure that all shelves are fully stocked with high-quality and fresh products at all times.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Train and develop a team of grocery associates to provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and organized store.
- Monitor and analyze sales and performance data to make informed decisions about product selection, pricing, and promotions.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate pricing and proper product placement on shelves.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with company and health department standards.
- Collaborate with other department managers to ensure a cohesive and seamless shopping experience for customers.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and market competition to make strategic business decisions.
- Prepare and manage department budgets, including identifying areas for cost-saving measures.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Uphold and promote a positive and customer-centric culture within the grocery department and the store as a whole.
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Grocery Retail Management.
