As a Refrigeration Technician, you will play a crucial role in keeping our stores running smoothly and efficiently.   1. Maintain and repair all refrigeration systems in the store to ensure the safety and quality of our products.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address any potential issues.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with refrigeration systems and take appropriate action to resolve them.
  4. Work closely with store management to develop and implement effective maintenance schedules.
  5. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on refrigeration systems.
  6. Monitor refrigerant levels and properly handle and dispose of them according to safety standards.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements in refrigeration technology.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to ensure all store equipment is operating at optimal levels.
  9. Communicate effectively with store management and other team members to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  10. Uphold company safety standards and regulations while working on refrigeration systems.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any refrigeration-related issues or concerns raised by store personnel.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures while on the job.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
  15. Assist with training and mentoring new Refrigeration Technicians as needed.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Refrigeration Maintenance And Repair: A Qualified Candidate For A Refrigeration Technician Job At Albertsons Should Have Prior Experience Working With Refrigeration Systems, Including Knowledge Of Maintenance And Repair Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Hvac Systems: As A Refrigeration Technician, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Hvac Systems, Including How They Operate And How To Troubleshoot And Fix Issues.

  • Certification In Refrigeration: Albertsons May Require Candidates To Hold A Certification In Refrigeration, Such As An Epa 608 Certification, To Ensure They Have The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Work With Refrigeration Systems Safely And Effectively.
