  1. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems in all Albertsons locations.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  3. Respond to emergency service calls and perform repairs in a timely manner.
  4. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with refrigeration systems, including identifying and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
  5. Document all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work completed.
  6. Collaborate with store managers and other team members to prioritize and schedule repairs.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary parts and supplies for refrigeration systems.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices for refrigeration systems.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service to store managers and employees, responding promptly to inquiries and concerns.
  11. Conduct training and provide guidance to store employees on proper use and maintenance of refrigeration systems.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure timely and efficient completion of all tasks.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  14. May be required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate emergency repairs and ensure store operations are not interrupted.
  15. Represent Albertsons in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For A Refrigeration Technician Position At Albertsons. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge To Understand The Technical Aspects Of The Job.

  • Certified Refrigeration Technician: Albertsons Requires Candidates To Hold A Certification In Refrigeration Technology Or A Related Field. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Troubleshoot And Repair Refrigeration Systems.

  • Previous Experience In Refrigeration Maintenance: Prior Experience In Refrigeration Maintenance, Preferably In A Retail Or Commercial Setting, Is Highly Desirable For A Refrigeration Technician Position At Albertsons. This Experience Shows That The Candidate Has A Strong Understanding Of Refrigeration Systems And Is Able To Handle The Demands Of The Job.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Refrigeration Systems: A Thorough Understanding Of Refrigeration Systems, Including Their Components, Operations, And Maintenance, Is A Key Qualification For A Refrigeration Technician At Albertsons. This Knowledge Allows The Candidate To Effectively Diagnose And Repair Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Ability To Work Independently And In A Team: A Refrigeration Technician At Albertsons Must Have The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team. They Should Be Able To Take Initiative And Work Efficiently Without Direct Supervision, While Also Collaborating With Other Members Of The Maintenance Team To Complete Tasks And Solve Problems.
