  4. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on refrigeration equipment.
  5. Respond promptly to emergency service calls and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe operation of refrigeration systems.
  7. Collaborate with other technicians and team members to share knowledge and best practices.
  8. Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and other team members to provide updates on maintenance and repairs.
  9. Stay current with industry developments and advancements in refrigeration technology.
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  11. Efficiently manage time and resources to meet deadlines and complete tasks within budget.

Job Qualifications

  • Relevant Education And Experience: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma And Completion Of A Recognized Refrigeration Technician Training Program Is Required. Previous Experience In Commercial Refrigeration Or Hvac Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Refrigeration Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Refrigeration Systems, Including Working Knowledge Of Refrigerant Types, Compressors, Evaporators, Condensers, And Controls.

  • Technical Skills: A Refrigeration Technician Should Possess Advanced Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Read And Interpret Technical Manuals And Schematics.

  • Safety Training And Certifications: As Refrigeration Systems Involve Potentially Hazardous Materials, The Candidate Should Have Completed Safety Training And Obtained Certifications Such As Epa 608 And Osha 10.

  • Customer Service Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Customers And Provide Excellent Customer Service Is Essential For A Refrigeration Technician. This Includes Being Able To Explain Technical Issues In A Clear And Understandable Manner.
