Continuous Improvement Manager

Lead the Potroom & Pot Reline, Carbon Plant, Cast House, EHS, ITAS, Procurement, Human Resources and Maintenance organizations through the implementation and deployment of lean manufacturing systems to achieve Plant business objectives. Gather opportunities in the value stream through support and collaboration with all departments. Ensure savings are detailed in Alcoa’s system (DI System). Establish and direct continuous improvement project work related to process improvements, cost initiatives, business plans, accounting issues, and industrial engineering studies within all departments. Assist, support, train and push all levels of the organization to find opportunities and develop action plans to increase efficiencies by creating room to collaborate applying A3s, Rules in Use, standardized work, problem solving and the full complement of ABS systems (industrial engineering techniques or Toyota Production System techniques).
