Job Description

Allina Health System is currently recruiting for an In- Patient Occupational Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational therapy services to inpatient populations. Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, a current and valid license from the State of Minnesota, and a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to in-patient populations.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans and goals for patients.
  3. Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments as needed.
  4. Document patient care services in accordance with established protocols.
  5. Educate patients and families on therapeutic interventions and techniques.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  7. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans.
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and regulations in the field of occupational therapy.
  9. Provide support and guidance to other therapists and staff.
  10. Participate in continuing education courses and professional development activities to stay current with industry trends.
