Neuro Hospitalist

Allina Health System is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and knowledgeable Neuro Hospitalist to join our team. The Neuro Hospitalist will serve as an integral member of the care team, responsible for managing the medical care of hospitalized neurology patients. Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical care to hospitalized neurology patients in accordance with best practices
2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
3. Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as appropriate
4. Monitor and assess patients' progress and adjust treatments accordingly
5. Maintain clear and accurate medical records and documentation
6. Communicate with patients and families to ensure their understanding of prognosis and treatment plans
7. Participate in patient education and awareness initiatives
8. Develop and implement plans for patient follow up and care coordination
9. Remain current on advancements in the field of neurology
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure best practices are followed
