Occupational Therapist

Reporting to the Occupational Therapy Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for developing patient treatment plans and providing therapeutic services to help patients reach their highest level of functional independence. The ideal candidate should have a deep commitment to the healthcare field and a passion for helping others heal and recover.Our ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Occupational Therapist license from the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. Additionally, we seek someone with two years of previous experience in occupational therapy, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to identify the needs of our patients and develop appropriate treatment plans. Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will help improve the quality of life of our patients and their families. Responsibilities:

1. Develop patient treatment plans and provide therapeutic services to help patients reach their highest level of functional independence.
2. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
3. Utilize available resources to maximize best patient outcomes.
4. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and other health care professionals to coordinate patient care.
5. Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress.
6. Educate patients and family members on available therapeutic services and how to best use them.
7. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay informed of current developments in the field.
8. Adhere to all professional, ethical, and legal standards of practice.
