
Director - Supply Chain Contracts

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Ally Financial's supply chain processes and vendor relationships.
- Oversee the negotiation and execution of all supply chain contracts, ensuring they align with the company's business objectives and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing for the company.
- Monitor contract performance and identify opportunities for improvement or cost savings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of contracts and supply chain processes.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes and drive efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in supply chain management and contract negotiation.
- Communicate contract terms and changes to relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
- Lead a team of supply chain contract professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all supply chain contracts and vendor agreements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with supply chain contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Act as a liaison between the company and its vendors, fostering strong and mutually beneficial relationships.
- Prepare and present regular reports on contract performance and supply chain metrics to senior management.
- Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain contract processes to drive cost savings and efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
At Least 7 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, With A Focus On Contract Negotiation And Management.
Strong Understanding Of Contract Law And Regulations.
Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Optimizing Supply Chain Contracts To Improve Efficiency And Reduce Costs.
