Job Description

At Ally Financial, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join our team as a Workday Integrations specialist. As a member of our dynamic and growing organization, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing integrations within the Workday platform. Your expertise and experience in Workday integrations will be invaluable in helping us streamline processes and achieve our business goals.   1. Design and develop integrations within the Workday platform, ensuring they meet the organization's business requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs and provide technical guidance and support.
  3. Continuously monitor and maintain the integrations, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  4. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within the Workday platform.
  5. Develop and maintain documentation for all integrations, including design specifications and user guides.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to Workday integrations.
  7. Train and mentor junior developers on Workday integrations and best practices.
  8. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of integration projects.
  9. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality and scalable solutions.
  10. Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate third-party systems with Workday.
  11. Conduct testing and quality assurance of integrations to ensure accuracy and functionality.
  12. Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues related to Workday integrations.
  13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide regular updates on integration projects.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as data security and privacy regulations.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the organization's integrations strategy and processes.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Workday Experience: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Workday, Including Hands-On Experience With Workday Studio And Advanced Knowledge Of Workday Integration Tools Such As Eib, Cloud Connect, And Workday Apis.

  • Strong Technical Background: The Role Of A Workday Integrations - Senior Developer Requires A Strong Technical Background, Including Proficiency In Languages Such As Xml, Xslt, And Java. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Web Services And Api Development.

  • Integration Project Management: The Candidate Should Have Experience Managing Complex Integration Projects Involving Multiple Systems And Platforms. This Includes The Ability To Design, Develop, And Implement Integrations, As Well As Troubleshoot And Resolve Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Innovative Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Workday Integrations - Senior Developer Involves Finding Creative And Efficient Solutions To Complex Integration Challenges. The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Developing Innovative And Effective Integrations To Support Business Needs.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders And Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams To Deliver High-Quality Integrations That Meet Business Requirements.
