
Advanced Practice Provider
At Altru Health System, we are looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our team. The APP will provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a multidisciplinary setting, in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols and regulations. This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering the highest quality of care to our patients and will have a passion for making a difference in the community.Qualifications for this position include a Master's degree in Nursing or related field, certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and current licensure with the North Dakota Board of Nursing. The successful candidate will also have a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting and experience working with a team of diverse clinicians. The APP must be capable of working independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, protocols and regulations.
- Maintain excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Deliver high quality of care to patients.
- Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Maintain current licensure with the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
- Monitor patient progress and ensure best outcomes for patients.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of new trends and technologies in the field.
- Perform clinical procedures as necessary.
- Document patient visits and care in accordance with organizational guidelines.
