Senior System Engineer Specialist (Endpoint)

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer Specialist (Endpoint) to join our growing IT team at Amadeus IT Group. This individual should have experience in system engineering, endpoint support, and a passion for problem-solving. As a Senior System Engineer Specialist (Endpoint), you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to internal and external customers.To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field• At least 5 years of experience in system engineering and endpoint support• In-depth knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems and software• Knowledge of basic networking concepts and technologies• Experience with scripting and automation tools• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities: • Provide technical support and assistance to internal and external customers • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Windows and macOS operating systems, software, and hardware • Install, configure, and maintain endpoint systems and applications • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to improve efficiency • Monitor, maintain, and optimize system performance • Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve issues • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and processes • Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate internal resources • Provide remote and on-site technical support • Maintain a customer service-oriented attitude and professional demeanor
