
County Surveyor
- Plans, organizes, coordinates and directs the functions of the County Surveyor's.
- Reviews and exercises responsibility for the certification of survey and subdivision maps maintained as part of official County records.
- Insures that maps are in compliance with applicable State laws and County ordinances
- Disseminates official maps to the public and other government agencies.
- Reviews and recommends revisions to ordinances with respect to land division and survey matters.
- Oversees the preparation of legal land descriptions.
- Oversees the maintenance of a uniform house numbering system.
- Develops and implements policies and County Surveyor functions with the public, governing boards and commissions, and other government agencies.
5 years of experience performing a variety of professional engineering and land surveying work,
At least 2 years in a lead or supervisory position.
Knowledge of Establishment and maintenance of filing and information retrieval systems
Ability to prepare accurate technical engineering and surveying reports
