Job Description

The Associate will work closely with the department’s SVP of Awards on the coordination of all aspects of awards campaigning including gathering of materials for awards submissions, planning FYC events, recommending submissions for specific shows. The Events team also manages the company’s festival submissions and coordinates with the festivals on needs. Finally, the Events team also handles Influencer and Press mailers and initiatives for the company. Project management of all aspects of physical awards entry process, coordinating materials required and ensuring the accuracy of all entries. Research and track awards and nominations received by AMC, BBC America, SundanceTV, WE tv and IFC and competitive networks and streaming services. Remain up-to-date on rules, regulations and processes for all major awards and categories, and communicate any changes to communications staff and appropriate executives and EPs.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience working closely across multiple divisions.

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Awards and Events at a TV Network, Steaming Service, production company or film studio.

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and are a proactive self-starter.
