  1. Design and develop post-silicon debug systems for high-performance computing and graphics solutions.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective debug system designs.
  3. Conduct thorough testing and verification of debug systems to ensure their functionality and compatibility with various product designs.
  4. Troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to post-silicon debug systems, including identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in post-silicon debug technology to continuously improve and enhance product offerings.
  6. Provide technical expertise and support to other team members and departments, including training and knowledge sharing.
  7. Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative activities to drive innovation and improve product performance.
  8. Document and communicate design specifications, progress, and results to team members and stakeholders.
  9. Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, ensuring high-quality work is completed on schedule.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve debug systems processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  11. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  12. Represent AMD in a professional manner and maintain a strong understanding of company values, goals, and products.

Job Qualifications
  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Post-Silicon Debug Methodologies And Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Post-Silicon Debug Techniques And Tools, Such As Jtag, Logic Analyzers, And Oscilloscopes.

  • Experience With Hardware Design And Validation: A Background In Hardware Design And Validation Is Essential For This Role, As The Engineer Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Hardware Bugs In Post-Silicon Products.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Programming Languages Such As C/C++, Python, Or Perl, As These Will Be Used Extensively In Post-Silicon Debug Activities.

  • Familiarity With Amd Processors And Architectures: A Good Understanding Of Amd Processors And Architectures Is Highly Desired, As The Engineer Will Be Working With These Products On A Daily Basis.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Think Critically And Creatively To Solve Complex Problems Is A Must For This Role, As The Engineer Will Be Troubleshooting And Debugging Issues In Post-Silicon Products.
