- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations to promote Amedisys' hospice services.
- Act as a liaison between Amedisys and potential referral sources, including hospitals, nursing homes, and physician practices.
- Educate healthcare professionals and the community about Amedisys' hospice services and the benefits of end-of-life care.
- Collaborate with the hospice team to develop and implement targeted marketing strategies to increase referrals.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify potential business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Amedisys' hospice services and policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide information on hospice services and address any concerns or questions.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and referrals for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Collaborate with the hospice team to ensure high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and events to represent Amedisys and network with potential referral sources.
- Stay informed of competitor activities and market changes to adjust strategies accordingly.
- Meet or exceed established goals for referrals and admissions.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in promoting Amedisys' hospice services.
- Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills through trainings and professional development opportunities.
- Embody Amedisys' values of compassion, integrity, and excellence in all interactions and responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Sales Or Business Development, Preferably In The Hospice Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Reimbursement Processes.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Healthcare Professionals And Community Organizations.
