CNA Hospice Aide

- Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients and their families in hospice care.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the hospice team.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for the patient.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the hospice team.
- Show empathy and compassion towards patients and their families during difficult times.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to improve skills and knowledge.
- Respect and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the company's mission and values.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification From An Accredited Program.
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience As A Cna In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Hospice Care.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Provide Compassionate Care And Support To Patients And Families.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Hospice Philosophy And Principles, Including Pain And Symptom Management.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team, With A Flexible And Adaptable Attitude To Changing Patient Needs.
