- Conduct initial assessments and evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Develop customized treatment plans for each patient based on their specific condition and goals.
- Implement physical therapy interventions and techniques to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries.

Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program: Amedisys Requires All Physical Therapists To Have A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Practices Of Physical Therapy.
Active State Licensure As A Physical Therapist: Amedisys Requires All Candidates To Have An Active State License As A Physical Therapist In The State Where They Will Be Working. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Legally Qualified To Provide Physical Therapy Services In That State.
