- Act as an ambassador for Amedisys, promoting the organization's mission and values to patients, families, and the community.
Medical Degree: A Physician Hospice At Amedisys Must Hold A Valid Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution. This Includes Completion Of A Residency Program In The Field Of Hospice And Palliative Care.
Board Certification: Amedisys Requires All Physician Hospice Candidates To Be Board Certified In Hospice And Palliative Care. This Certification Demonstrates Advanced Knowledge And Expertise In This Specialized Field.
Active Medical License: A Valid And Active Medical License Is A Mandatory Requirement For The Physician Hospice Role At Amedisys. This Ensures That The Candidate Is Legally Qualified To Practice Medicine In The State Where The Hospice Care Is Being Provided.
Experience In Hospice Care: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Hospice Care Is Preferred For The Physician Hospice Role At Amedisys. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care As Well As Administrative And Leadership Responsibilities.
