Valid Rn License In The State Of Employment: Amedisys Requires All Applicants For A Rn Home Health Job To Hold A Current And Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where They Will Be Working.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Nursing Experience: Amedisys Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Nursing Experience, Preferably In A Home Health Or Hospice Setting. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills And Knowledge To Provide Quality Care To Patients In Their Homes.
Bls Certification: Amedisys Requires All Rn Home Health Employees To Hold A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification. This Certification Is Necessary To Provide Emergency Care To Patients In Case Of A Medical Emergency.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Rn Home Health, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Amedisys Values Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills In Their Employees To Ensure Effective And Compassionate Care.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team: Home Health Nursing Often Requires Rns To Work Autonomously In The Patient's Home.
