- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and reliable delivery of essential commodities
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable contracts
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and avoid stock shortages
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for commodities
- Oversee the sourcing and procurement process, including supplier selection, contract management, and performance evaluation
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to identify potential areas for improvement
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and guidelines for supply chain management
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in supply chain management, and incorporate them into the company's processes
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on supply chain performance and initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5-7 Years Of Experience In Supply Chain Management, Specifically In The Technical Operations Industry.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Procurement Processes, Contract Negotiation, And Supplier Management.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Make Data-Driven Decisions.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Build Relationships With Suppliers.
