Job Description

Are you looking to explore the world and help others do the same? American Automobile Association (AAA) is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Travel Agent to join our team! In this role, you will help clients plan their travel, offering advice on destinations, transportation, and accommodation. You must have excellent customer service and communication skills, and a passion for travel. A successful Travel Agent at AAA must have:• At least 3 years of experience as a Travel Agent• Extensive knowledge of travel industry and destinations• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Proficiency with computers and relevant softwareIf you are a passionate and experienced Travel Agent with a commitment to customer service excellence, AAA would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service and build trusted relationships with clients.
  2. Utilize extensive knowledge of the travel industry and destinations to provide advice on transportation, accommodation, and other travel-related services.
  3. Create customized travel packages based on clients’ needs and preferences.
  4. Assist clients with the booking process, including making reservations, processing payments, and handling any changes or cancellations.
  5. Maintain current knowledge of airline regulations and travel trends.
  6. Remain up-to-date on available products and services.
  7. Follow all company policies and procedures.
  8. Work independently and as part of a team to meet department goals.
  9. Utilize computer software and other relevant technology to effectively plan travel.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
