Heat Treat Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the heat treat process for all automotive components produced at the AAM facility. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the heat treat industry. They should also be knowledgeable in process control, statistical process control (SPC) and Lean/Six Sigma principles. The Heat Treat Engineer must have strong communication and problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams. 8. Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to during the heat treat process.
9. Provide technical support and advice as necessary.
