
Senior Structural Analysis Engineer
American Axle & Manufacturing-AAM is looking for a highly motivated Senior Structural Analysis Engineer to join its dynamic and talented engineering team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in the structural analysis field. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem solving skills, and a desire to take on complex engineering challenges.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering• 5+ years of structural analysis experience, preferably with a combination of automotive and aerospace experience• Proven expertise in using a variety of structural analysis tools such as FEA, CFD, and/or optimization algorithms• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences• Excellent organizational and project management skills• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Design and perform structural analysis of automotive and aerospace components and systems using FEA, CFD, and optimization algorithms.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations to document the results of analysis activities.
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure that structural requirements are met.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
- Stay abreast of relevant industry trends and technologies, and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or Related Field
