
Meeting Manager
Are you an experienced and organized Meeting Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with American Express Global Business Travel? We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who will be responsible for leading the planning and execution of customer meetings and events. In this role, you will manage the entire event cycle including pre-event planning, logistics, on-site execution and post-event follow-up. You must be a self-starter and have excellent organizational and communication skills. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in meeting planning and/or event management. You must also have experience in customer service and a working knowledge of event management software. A bachelor's degree or higher in hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of customer meetings and events, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up.
- Manage the entire event cycle, including logistics, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up.
- Monitor event budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Use event management software to manage event details, deadlines, and budgets.
- Develop creative solutions to challenges that arise in the planning process.
- Ensure events are executed in an efficient and timely manner.
- Maintain and update event records and documents.
- Monitor event trends, best practices, and industry standards.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
