Job Description

We’re looking for a talented, motivated, and detail-oriented Pharma Meeting Manager to join the American Express Global Business Travel team. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and executing the logistics of pharmaceutical meetings and events for both domestic and international audiences.To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You should also be passionate about the pharma industry and have a proven track record of successful meeting and event management.If you’re interested in joining an energetic and innovative team, and have the skills to back it up, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and coordinate domestic and international pharma meetings and events, including booking venues, transportation, and catering.
  2. Develop detailed timelines and budgets for each event and manage them throughout the event cycle.
  3. Develop creative and innovative ideas for meetings and events to ensure that they are memorable and engaging.
  4. Monitor and stay abreast of current industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and success.
  5. Work with clients to ensure that their goals and objectives for each meeting or event are met.
  6. Monitor event performance and provide timely feedback to clients.
  7. Manage event logistics, including on-site management and setup.
  8. Track and manage event expenses to ensure that budget goals are met.
  9. Develop strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and excellent customer service.
  10. Ensure that all safety and security protocols are followed during events.
