  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with American Express's social impact initiatives and drives positive change.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and amplify key messages and stories that showcase the impact of our programs and partnerships.
  3. Work closely with external partners to build strong relationships and effectively communicate our social impact efforts.
  4. Write and edit compelling and impactful content, including press releases, media pitches, blog posts, and social media content.
  5. Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for American Express to contribute to conversations around social impact and corporate responsibility.
  6. Act as a spokesperson for American Express's social impact initiatives, representing the company in media interviews and public speaking engagements.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media outlets, influencers, and industry organizations.
  8. Manage and track budgets and timelines for communication projects related to social impact initiatives.
  9. Stay up-to-date on best practices and industry trends in public relations and social impact communications.
  10. Support the overall corporate social responsibility goals of American Express and contribute to the company's mission to create a more sustainable and inclusive world.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Social Responsibility (Csr) Or Social Impact Communications.

  • Proven Track Record Of Developing And Executing Successful Communication Strategies For Csr Initiatives.

  • Strong Understanding Of Social Impact Trends, Issues, And Best Practices.

  • Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Stakeholders.
