- Lead and oversee technology audit initiatives to ensure the integrity, security, and efficiency of American Express' technology systems and processes.
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, strategies, and methodologies to assess and mitigate risks associated with technology systems and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential areas of risk and develop effective control measures to minimize risk exposure.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to continuously enhance the company's technology audit processes.
- Effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to technology teams in implementing and maintaining strong internal controls and risk management practices.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of technology systems, processes, and controls to evaluate their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and external audit partners.
- Monitor and track the implementation of corrective actions and remediation plans to address identified risks and deficiencies.
- Champion a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation within the technology audit team and across the organization.
Extensive Experience In Technology Auditing: The Ideal Candidate For A Technology Audit Director At American Express Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Technology Auditing, Preferably In A Large And Complex Organization.
Strong Understanding Of Technology And Financial Services Industry: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Technology Landscape In The Financial Services Industry, Including Emerging Trends And Best Practices.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Lead And Manage A Team Of Auditors, As Well As Communicate Findings And Recommendations To Senior Management.
Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements And Compliance Standards Related To Technology In The Financial Services Industry, Such As Sox, Pci Dss, And Gdpr.
