American Express is seeking a Vice President, Technology Audit Leader to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of talented auditors and collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate and enhance our technology processes.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive technology audit strategy for the company.
  2. Lead and manage a team of auditors to execute technology audits and provide guidance and support as needed.
  3. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including technology leaders and business partners, to understand and address their technology risks and concerns.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure the audit processes are in line with the latest standards.
  5. Identify potential areas of improvement in technology processes and develop recommendations to enhance efficiency and security.
  6. Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and provide regular updates on the status of ongoing audits.
  7. Manage relationships with external audit partners and oversee their work to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  8. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technology teams to promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  9. Monitor and report on the progress of technology audit plans and provide regular updates to senior management.
  10. Train and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively perform their roles.
  11. Act as a subject matter expert on technology audit matters and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  12. Uphold ethical standards and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  13. Drive innovation and recommend new and improved audit processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
  15. Represent the company in external industry events and conferences related to technology audit.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Technology Audit Or Risk Management, Preferably In The Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Technology Infrastructure, Applications, And Processes.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Auditors.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
