  1. Conduct actuarial analysis and utilize predictive modeling techniques to assess environmental risks.
  2. Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to develop risk management strategies for environmental policies.
  3. Monitor and analyze trends in environmental risks and provide recommendations for pricing and underwriting strategies.
  4. Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain actuarial models and databases to support pricing and reserving processes.
  6. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  7. Participate in the development and implementation of new actuarial methods and processes.
  8. Conduct research and analysis to support the development of new environmental insurance products.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in actuarial work.
  10. Mentor and train junior actuaries and interns.
  11. Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in actuarial methods and techniques.
  12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive growth.
  13. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  14. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  15. Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects, and ensure timely completion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Associate-Level Actuarial Certification (Asa) From The Society Of Actuaries.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Actuarial Experience In The Insurance Industry, With A Focus On Environmental Risks.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Manipulate And Interpret Complex Data.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Findings To Stakeholders.
