- Develop and implement the Generative AI strategy for American International Group, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the Generative AI team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Stay current with the latest developments in data science and AI, and identify potential opportunities for innovation and improvement within the insurance industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, and product development, to identify and prioritize AI projects that can drive business growth and efficiency.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify data-driven insights and develop solutions to complex business problems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors, leveraging their expertise and resources to enhance the company's AI capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations, and maintain the integrity and accuracy of all data used in AI initiatives.
- Provide regular updates on project progress and outcomes to senior management, and make recommendations for future AI initiatives.
- Identify and address any potential risks or challenges that may arise during the implementation of AI projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Generative AI team and processes, implementing best practices and making necessary adjustments as needed.
Strong Background In Data Science And Machine Learning: The Data Science Manager Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Science Principles And Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Machine Learning Models. This Includes Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Python, R, And Sql, As Well As Experience With Data Manipulation And Visualization Tools.
Experience With Generative Ai Techniques: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have Experience With Generative Ai Techniques Such As Generative Adversarial Networks (Gans) And Variational Autoencoders (Vaes). They Should Also Have A Solid Understanding Of How These Techniques Can Be Applied To Real-World Business Problems.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Data Scientists And Overseeing Their Work. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Motivating A Team, As Well As Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills.
Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Skills, A Data Science Manager Should Also Possess A Strong Understanding Of Business Concepts And Strategies. They Should Be Able To Translate Technical Insights Into Actionable Business Recommendations And Have Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams.
Familiarity With Insurance Industry: American International Group Is A Leading Insurance Company, So Familiarity With The Industry And Its Unique Challenges And Opportunities Would Be Highly Beneficial For A Data Science Manager In This Role.
