Global Head of Trade Finance

Responsible for setting & driving business strategy for Trade Finance Globally. Accountable for Global P&L – execute against growth and profitability goals and objectives. Drive underwriting excellence across Trade Finance, in collaboration with the CUO, by establishing and ensuring adherence to risk appetite, line setting, standards and guidelines, and ensure rating and pricing adequacy. Identify and Recommend new markets, products, services and tools, as well as marketing distribution & Underwriting Strategies. Create regular and ongoing communication with the various geographies to promote best practices, share strategic insights and create a community of interest across the various minor lines. Ensure an effective reinsurance strategy that supports our risk appetite for per risk and aggregation across all product lines, as well as active management of the portfolio. Understands the Specialty business model, underwriting methodology, and the risks we assume.
