  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of AIG's reinsurance strategy and objectives.
  2. Analyze complex reinsurance structures and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential reinsurance opportunities.
  4. Conduct research and analyze market trends to inform reinsurance decisions.
  5. Review and interpret reinsurance contracts to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of AIG's reinsurance programs and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on reinsurance strategy, performance, and potential opportunities.
  8. Communicate and negotiate with reinsurance brokers and counterparties to secure favorable terms for AIG.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulations related to reinsurance.
  10. Mentor and train junior reinsurance analysts on best practices and industry standards.
  11. Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of AIG's overall business growth strategies.
  12. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and finance, to ensure alignment of reinsurance strategy with overall business goals.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of reinsurance contracts, data, and analysis.
  14. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reinsurance operations.
  15. Represent AIG at industry events and conferences to build relationships and stay informed of industry developments.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Or A Related Field.

  • At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Reinsurance Role, Preferably At A Large Insurance Company.

  • Proficiency In Reinsurance Principles And Practices, Including Treaty And Facultative Reinsurance.

  • Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret Complex Data And Make Strategic Recommendations.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Compliance And Reporting Requirements For Reinsurance Contracts.
