- Provide exceptional customer service to donors and potential donors at American Red Cross blood drives.
- Assist with the collection of blood donations from donors, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
- Educate donors on the importance of blood donation and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of donor information and ensure confidentiality is maintained.
- Set up and clean up donation areas, including equipment and supplies, to ensure a safe and efficient donation process.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth and successful blood drive.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the health and safety of donors and staff.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the American Red Cross, promoting the organization's mission and values.
- Continuously strive to improve the donor experience and find ways to increase donor satisfaction.
- Attend training and development sessions to stay up-to-date on blood collection procedures and customer service best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a professional and welcoming atmosphere for donors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Blood Collection Supervisor or other Red Cross staff.
