
Disaster Services Supervisor

As a Disaster Services Supervisor, you will oversee all disaster response and recovery efforts in your assigned area, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively to those in need. - Oversee all disaster response and recovery efforts in the assigned area.
- Ensure that all services are delivered efficiently and effectively to those affected by disasters and emergencies.
- Manage and direct a team of disaster services staff and volunteers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local emergency management agencies and community partners.
- Train and educate staff and volunteers on disaster response protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate with other Red Cross departments to provide necessary resources and support for disaster relief efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster response and recovery efforts.
- Develop and implement plans for disaster preparedness and mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with all Red Cross policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to disaster response and recovery efforts.
- Serve as a spokesperson for the Red Cross during disaster situations.
- Respond to and address any issues or concerns related to disaster services.
- Stay current on best practices and trends in disaster management.
- Participate in on-call rotations and be available for immediate deployment during disasters.
- Uphold the mission and values of the American Red Cross in all interactions and decisions.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Disaster Response And Management, With A Focus On Coordinating And Leading Emergency Operations.
Bachelor's Degree In Emergency Management, Public Administration, Or Related Field.
Strong Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Supervise And Mentor A Team Of Volunteers And Staff Members.
Extensive Knowledge Of Disaster Response Protocols And Procedures, Including Experience Working With Local, State, And Federal Emergency Management Agencies.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Community Partners And Stakeholders.
