
Donor Center Phlebotomist

- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of donors and the integrity of the blood supply

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry standards and best practices

Certification: A Donor Center Phlebotomist At American Red Cross Must Hold A Valid Phlebotomy Certification From An Accredited Organization, Such As The National Healthcareer Association Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology.
Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Phlebotomist In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Blood Collection Or Donor Center Environment.
Knowledge Of Blood Collection And Processing: A Thorough Understanding Of The Blood Collection Process, Including Proper Techniques For Venipuncture, Capillary Puncture, And Specimen Processing, Is Essential For This Role.
Customer Service Skills: The Ability To Provide Exceptional Customer Service To Blood Donors Is Crucial For A Donor Center Phlebotomist. Candidates Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills And Be Able To Effectively Interact With A Diverse Group Of People.
