
Lead Blood Component Manufacturing Technician
The American Red Cross is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Lead Blood Component Manufacturing Technician to join our team and help ensure the safety of blood donations. This position requires a deep understanding of blood component manufacturing technology and processes. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work well in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for helping others.This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading blood component manufacturing staff and providing technical consultation on any process related to the manufacturing of blood components.We are looking for someone who has a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or a related field, and at least three years of experience in a blood banking or clinical laboratory environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience is preferred. The Lead Blood Component Manufacturing Technician must also be knowledgeable of relevant regulations and standards, and have experience with blood component manufacturing technology.
