
National Team Platelet Scheduler

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for platelet donations from donors across the country
- Communicate with donors, medical staff, and other team members to coordinate and confirm donation appointments
- Identify and prioritize urgent donation needs based on patient demand and hospital requests
- Utilize donor database and other resources to track and monitor donation schedules and updates
- Collaborate with other departments and teams within the organization to ensure efficient and effective donation coordination
- Provide excellent customer service to donors, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring a positive donation experience
- Monitor and analyze donation trends and data to inform scheduling decisions and strategies
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and safety guidelines for blood and platelet donation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donor information and donation schedules
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to continually improve skills and knowledge related to platelet donation and scheduling processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Scheduling For A Healthcare Organization, Preferably In A Blood Bank Or Transfusion Services Setting.
Knowledge Of Blood Donation Processes And Procedures, Including Donor Eligibility And Screening Requirements.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle A High Volume Of Scheduling Requests And Maintain Accurate Records.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Teams And Handle Sensitive Information With Confidentiality.
