Registered Nurse (Therapeutic Apheresis)

The American Red Cross is looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse (Therapeutic Apheresis). This position requires a high level of care and attention to detail, as the individual will be responsible for providing therapeutic apheresis procedures to our patients. The successful candidate will have experience in nursing, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: • Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state in which he or she practices • Must possess a minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience • Must possess prior experience with therapeutic apheresis • Must possess strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care protocols and safety standards • Must possess basic computer skills • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel for assignments
