- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for electronic components to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
- Manage and lead a team of sourcing specialists to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Analyze market trends and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and negotiations to secure the best possible terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including supplier performance, cost savings, and inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sourcing activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and quality supply of electronic components.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the global EMS market, including emerging trends, technologies, and suppliers.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to electronic components and incorporate them into sourcing strategies.
- Prepare and present regular reports and presentations to senior management on sourcing activities and performance.
- Lead the development and implementation of new sourcing processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with other managers and departments to ensure alignment and coordination of sourcing activities across the organization.
- Represent AMETEK in industry events and conferences to stay informed about the latest market developments and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Global Ems Commodity Procurement And Sourcing.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Ems Industry And Global Supply Chain Management Practices.
Strong Negotiation And Contract Management Skills.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Abilities, With The Ability To Manage And Develop A Team Of Procurement Professionals.
