Job Description

Support the portfolio managers with responsibilities such as entering trades into trading system, settling trades, and investigating trade breaks with the Recon team. Create Letters of Direction for trade execution. Work on transactions including invoices, directing capital call payments, stock distributions and client bill payment. Special projects. Reviewing and entering trade directions. Work on both Domestic and Canadian trades but the primary focus will be on our Canadian client book. Work closely with other delegated teams regarding onboarding, trading and monitoring of discretionary investment consulting clients. Part of a fast paced rapidly growing investment consulting group.

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of trade operations experience

  • Experience with Bloomberg AIM or any previous experience with Order Management System

  • Trust back office, trust accounting or investment banking experience a plus

  • Ability to prioritize and self-schedule deliverable obligations and meet deadlines

  • Experience working in the trade operations area of an investment management firm a plus
