Job Description

Lead and maintain facility multi-media (air, water, and waste) environmental programs to ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations and permit requirements. Monitor and report on environmental performance to facility management and AM USA Environmental Affairs. Perform root cause analyses and implement corrective actions for environmental issues as directed by AM USA Environmental Affairs to improve compliance and advance superior environmental performance. Interface with local, state and federal environmental regulatory personnel. Maintain ISO 14001 facility certification Maintain the Company’s Environmental Data Management System. Cooperate in AM USA environmental compliance audits. Provide technical direction and conduct environmental employee training and shop floor audits. Prepare federal, state, and local permit applications as directed by AM USA Environmental Affairs.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work self-directed, prioritize work and handle multiple projects

  • 5 years Environmental experience (ISO9000, ISO14001, etc)

  • Experience in Quality Management Systems (ISO9000, ISO14001, etc) in heavy manufacturing environment

  • Current working knowledge of State and Federal environmental Laws and regulations
