
Program Manager, Visits and Events

- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for organizing and executing various events and visits for Arizona State University.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events and visits, including logistics, scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
- Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the success of events and visits, including admissions, marketing, and academic programs.
- Manage and oversee event staff, including event coordinators and volunteers, to ensure seamless execution of events and visits.
- Create and maintain event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Monitor and track event budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event inquiries and requests, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other external partners to support event planning and execution.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and analysis to measure the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event management to continuously improve and enhance the visitor experience at ASU.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events and visits and increase attendance and engagement.
- Represent ASU at external events and conferences to promote the university and build relationships with potential partners and sponsors.
- Ensure all events and visits are inclusive, accessible, and aligned with ASU's values and mission.
- Uphold the university's policies and procedures and ensure all events and visits comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for ASU, promoting the university's values and mission to visitors and guests.
Bachelor's Degree In Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Planning, Preferably In A Higher Education Setting.
Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Manage Multiple Events And Projects Simultaneously.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders And Build Relationships.
Experience Working With Vendors, Negotiating Contracts, And Managing Budgets For Events.
