Civil Engineering

Serve as leader and project engineer for assigned construction and operation and maintenance contracts. Coordinates subordinate engineers, inspectors and surveyors in field surveillance and contract administration for a large number of contracts assigned to the Area Office. Responsible for insuring that all contract Administrative matters are conducted in an accurate and timely manner. Review plans and specifications, formulate and consolidate recommendations submitted by others and present recommended changes to facilitate or improve construction during preaward technical review. Plan and assign work to field inspection force and survey crews and keep them informed of proposed contractor operations.
