Job Description

Ascension Health is seeking an experienced, passionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) specializing in Plastic Surgery to join our team. Our ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to provide a full range of personalized care to patients in our Plastic Surgery practice. As an APRN in our Plastic Surgery practice, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, evidence-based care to our patients, while also helping to ensure the highest quality of care and patient experience.The qualifications for this position include a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited university, a current APRN license in the state of practice, and certification as a Plastic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Specialist. Our ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in Plastic Surgery, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. An understanding of current trends and best practices in Plastic Surgery is also desired. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to patients in the Plastic Surgery practice.
  2. Help to ensure the highest quality of care and patient experience.
  3. Collaborate with the team of healthcare professionals to provide a full range of personalized care to patients.
  4. Keep up with current trends and best practices in Plastic Surgery.
  5. Maintain a current APRN license in the state of practice.
  6. Adhere to all safety and compliance standards.
  7. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  8. Ensure that all treatment plans are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.
  9. Monitor patient progress and provide follow-up care as needed.
  10. Provide patient education regarding treatments, medications, and post-operative care.
