  1. Perform EKG tests on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
  2. Accurately record and document EKG results for interpretation by healthcare professionals.
  3. Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of EKG equipment.
  4. Prepare patients for EKG procedures, including explaining the process and answering any questions.
  5. Monitor patients during EKG tests and report any abnormalities or concerns to healthcare team.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to determine appropriate course of action based on EKG results.
  7. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
  8. Educate patients on EKG procedures and provide instructions for at-home monitoring, if necessary.
  9. Assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed.
  10. Keep up-to-date with advancements and changes in EKG technology and techniques.
  11. Comply with all safety and infection control protocols.
  12. Provide compassionate and empathetic care to all patients, regardless of their condition or situation.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  14. Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data.
  15. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  16. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Ekg Technician: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Ekg Technician Certification From A Recognized Institution Or Organization. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received The Necessary Training And Has Passed The Required Exams To Perform Ekg Procedures Accurately And Safely.
