Ascension Health is looking for an experienced and highly motivated HR Business Partner to join our team. As an integral part of the HR team, the HR Business Partner will provide expert guidance and support to ensure our organization is able to attract, develop, and retain the best talent and foster a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a Human Resources role, ideally in a healthcare or non-profit setting. They will have an excellent understanding of all aspects of HR, including employee relations, benefits and compensation, talent management, and compliance. The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple stakeholders. Above all, the HR Business Partner must be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement solutions that will support our organization’s long-term objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice, guidance, and support to ensure the organization is able to attract, develop, and retain the best talent and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable HR policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Develop and implement solutions to support the organization's long-term objectives.
- Manage employee relations, including addressing grievances, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Manage benefits and compensation programs, including overseeing open enrollment, new hire orientations, and performance reviews.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of talent management strategies.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of HR trends and best practices.
- Provide coaching and support to managers and staff.
- Analyze and report on HR data.
